چکیده
Study of biophysical interactions have been carried out using specific combination of proteins such as Brucella abortus cell envelop protein (as antigen) and its complementary antibody (raised in mice and rabbit). A best optimized composition of biocompatible CeO2 nano-octahedra and other biocompatible materials (chitosan) was used in this study. Linear range was found in the range of 6.25 μg/mL–100 μg/mL. Detection limit was found 0.1 ng/mL. By conventional plate ELISA it was possible to detect 50 μg/mL only. Experiments were conducted using 110 suspected patient serum samples and results were compared with ELISA and Rose Bengal Plate test (RBPT). We also studied the shelf life of prepared immunosensor. The shelf life of immunosensor was found to be 51 days. Development of New Modified Simple Polymerase Chain Reaction and Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction for the Identification of Iranian Brucella abortus Strains
Brucellosis is primarily a worldwide zoonotic disease caused by Brucella species. The genus Brucella contains highly infectious species that are classified as biological threat agents. In this regard, the identification of Brucella can be a time-consuming and labor-intensive process posing a real risk of laboratory-acquired infection to the laboratory staff. This stud...

A rapid and simple method for the real time monitoring of Brucella abortus CSP-31 (B. abortus CSP-31) by using Surface Plasmon resonance (SPR) is first time reported. SPR and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were used to characterize the B. abortus CSP-31 interaction on carboxymethyldextran modified gold disc with antibody. The EIS data revealed a decrease in impedance after interac...
متن کاملDetection of Brucella melitensis and Brucella abortus strains using a single-stage PCR method
Brucella melitensis and Brucella abortus are of the most important causes of brucellosis, an infectious disease which is transmitted either directly or indirectly including consuming unpasteurized dairy products. Both strains are considered endemic in Iran. Common diagnostic methods such as bacteriologic cultures are difficult and time consuming regarding the bacteria. The aim of this study w...

Background: Rhodoccocus equi, Brucella abortus, and Pasteurella multocida are important veterinary bacterial pathogens that in recent years have been resisted to current antibiotics, and this problem threats the livestock industry. To control this resistant microorganisms, use of new antibacterial compounds, such as thiazole derivatives, in veterinary is necessary. OBJECTIVES: In this study, an...
متن کاملHigh Level Expression of Recombinant Ribosomal Protein (L7/L12) from Brucella abortus and Its Reaction with Infected Human Sera
Brucellosis, caused by Brucella spp., is an important zoonotic disease that causes abortion and infertility in cattle and undulant fever in humans. Various studies have examined cell-free native and recombinant proteins as candidate protective antigens in animal models. Among Brucella immunogenes, antigen based on ribosomal preparation has been widely investigated. In this study, the immunogeni...
